Gates of Olympus: Free Demo and Rules
By Tasho Tashev, Slots & Crypto-Casino Editorial Author · Published · Updated · 4 min read
This is the first game of the family and the baseline every other title is measured against. It has the tumbling six-reel grid and the multiplier symbols, but not the Super Scatter symbol that gives Gates of Olympus Super Scatter its 50,000x ceiling.
This page covers Gates of Olympus only. For the game this site is about, see Gates of Olympus Super Scatter. No signup, no deposit; the demo uses virtual credits. For adults aged 18 or over.

How Gates of Olympus Works
The first list restates the Pragmatic Play game page. The second lists what the rules panel inside the demo adds or contradicts. We do not state figures that neither source prints.
From the provider page
- Land 8 to 30 matching symbols anywhere on the tumbling reels to win. Winning symbols disappear and new ones fall in until no win remains.
- Multiplier symbols with values up to 500x can land in the base game and in free spins. Their values are added together at the end of a tumble sequence and applied to the win.
- Four or more scatter symbols trigger the free spins round with 15 free spins. In the round, each multiplier that lands on a winning spin joins a running total that multiplies later wins.
From the rules panel in the demo
- The rules panel lists 15 possible multiplier values, from 2x to 500x. The Super Scatter version prints the same list.
- Three or more scatters during the free spins add 5 more spins, and special reels are in play for the round.
- The panel states the cap on page 6 of 7: a round that reaches 5,000x bet ends at once and the remaining features are forfeited. The provider page does not print this figure.

How It Compares With Gates of Olympus Super Scatter
Both games run on the same 6x5 tumbling grid, pay for 8 or more matching symbols anywhere and top out multiplier symbols at 500x. The difference is the Super Scatter symbol: on Gates of Olympus Super Scatter, one to four of them on a free spins trigger pay 100x, 500x, 5,000x or 50,000x, and the cap sits ten times higher. On the original the trigger gives the 15 free spins and nothing else, and the demo panel caps a round at 5,000x. Both demos label the volatility Medium.
| Game | How it pays | Maximum win | Volatility label |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gates of Olympus | Pays anywhere: 8 or more matching symbols | 5,000x bet | Medium |
| Gates of Olympus Super Scatter | Pays anywhere: 8 or more matching symbols | 50,000x bet | Medium |

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Gates of Olympus the same game as Gates of Olympus Super Scatter?
No. They share the tumbling six-reel grid and the multiplier symbols, but Gates of Olympus Super Scatter adds a Super Scatter symbol that pays 100x to 50,000x when the free spins trigger. The original has no such symbol and its demo panel caps a round at 5,000x bet.
What is the maximum win in the original Gates of Olympus?
The rules panel in the free demo states 5,000x bet, on page 6 of 7. The Pragmatic Play game page does not print a maximum win, so this figure comes from the game itself and an operator version could differ.
What does the 25x ante bet change?
The panel says the 25x bet multiplier doubles the natural chance of triggering free spins and puts more scatter symbols on the reels. It costs more per spin, and the panel prints the same 96.50% RTP with it on.
Which RTP does the original Gates of Olympus have?
Pragmatic Play lists 96.50% on its game page and the demo panel prints 96.50% too. Operators can run other values, so check the help screen of the version you open.
